5.5 pts per serving
1 lb ground chicken 16 pts
1 egg 2 pts
1 Tbsp skim milk 0 pts
1 clove garlic minced 0 pts
½ cup bread crumbs 4 pts
1 tsp each salt &
pepper _______
22 pts = 5.5 pts per serving
Mix egg and milk; add garlic and salt & pepper. Add mixture to chicken and add
breadcrumbs. Mix lightly. Shape into 4 burgers and grill for about 12
minutes.
NOTE: These are VERY
good. This mixture is kind of sticky
and I was afraid they would stick to the grill so we put them in a basket
sprayed with Pam. We were having problems with them burning when cooked this
way. We now still use the basket and Pam, but grill them on top of a stainless
steel pan that deflects the heat. We served them on a 1-point bun with just a
touch of light mayo, some onion, lettuce and jardinière (all optional) for a
very tasty alternative to a higher point hamburger. And with an ear of corn with butter (3pts)!! Mmmmmmmmmm!
Great summer meal!
